(but then goes taut again a bit later lmao, the fact that his patience is ‘hanging on by a thread’ makes me really nervous. Like I want these guys to be happy but at the same I don’t want Khimaera to do something out of emotion that could get them hurt or worse. Like the tension between doing nothing, because it’s safe, or doing something, though it’s dangerous, is like so visceral in every scene with these two
