There are a number of pages where Di thinks about/interacts with Kaursson where her expression just gets so thoughtful/melancholy that really just add such a nice dimension to her character (the other one that comes to mind immediately is when Kaurrson refuses to acknowledge that her other partners were weird around her because they cared about her, and Di immediately remembers how earnest that other cop was about their affection, and sort of gives Kaurrson a ‘why do you think that people can’t like you?’ kind of look.) Like it’s nice that one of the layers of her being very boisterous and energetic is that it seems like she just feels things really strongly in general? And that includes being uniquely empathetic or introspective, in the right context. It just….makes me love her a whole lot
