god cross is a giant pile of racist garbage. Ada’s responding in a natural way to seeing someone be so despicable, and standing up to cross is something I think the viewer has probably wanted to do (I know i did) for a long time. This was a very nice way to get us to identify with Ada more, and just generally like her. A+
yeah he’s a fuckin on-fire trashcan, just. the worst. it’s really hard to negotiate Ada’s behavior around him because she’s only just picking up on what he’s really like and there’s…a lot of internal conflict I can’t dig into right now! @-@ but she’s fundamentally a good person and this is that kind of shining through.
